The driver stayed well behind me for a while, which was great 👍
As I moved into the lane to turn left, signalling with my helmet indicator, she started to overtake 😳 ... so even stuck my arm out as well; I was wearing a yellow, long-sleeved high-vis jacket!

She somehow lost her nerve and control, because she didn’t want to slow down and stay behind me – which she would have had to do under the Highway Code – so she had to swerve 100% into the oncoming lane 😳 and just 30 metres further on, oncoming traffic was already approaching her.

The two pedestrians on the right watched her go for a long time.
