The example of the transporter shows that every involved person is doing as good as possible. Simply, the infrastructure, i.e. painted lanes, lead to a critical mess where car's have little distance/time to cross the bike lane if they want to turn right at the second crossing.
Would be an idea to give bikes a head-start of 5 seconds with a dedicated traffic light in order to avoid the mess.
